On the left photo is DEREK PYRAH owner of the VILLAGE AIDE PROGRAM (VAP for short) a Rotary International organization based in Australia and operating in the Philippines. His major partner with the operations was THE ROTARY CLUB OF TAGBILARAN (RCT for short) in the island of Bohol where CORY ANN VERGE lives ( Her photo on the right ). Cory Ann was a member of this club (RCT) and was receiving some financial aide from the VAP for a feeding program she established in the day care of the Cassate village. But the Club disassociated its position from the VAP due to financial anomalies that surfaced from the aid the (VAP) was receiving from the ROTARY INTERNATIONAL individuals and corporations. Today, looking at both web sites, crossworld .org and VAP.ph where both claiming credit we are reading two different writing styles , hard to beleive are written from the same person. The first you can read at the link Crossworld.org. Is the same you read below.
The second one is below. Copy and paste on your browser's URL bar this link to read the same as below. http://www.vap.ph/news.php#65
Let's make it simple as some Rotarians requested. Who's taking care of those children? The VAP or CROSSWORLD ORG.? As far as we know from new info came in there is no relationship between the two. Is this a dirty game that both organizations are using the drama to raise money? Ask Cory Ann... We are also very disturbed by Cory Ann's wording in her report on the VAP web site. " It became obvious that the food we were giving for the children were not “getting to these children”. Maybe the older siblings or even mom and dad were getting a little fatter but these little ones are still struggling". To the Crossworld.org: Please, order your "missionary" to remove this defamatory allegation because is unfair to the parents and siblings. Parents did not steal the food. And if they did, it's because they are hungry too, she could afford to give them also some, since the cost allowed in the VAP is only 50 cents of a dollar per day. They raised thousands more publishing the story all over and pleading for donations. And if the VAP doesn't allow it Crossworld should do it because they are using the story as well to raise money.
